Helping People Is A Gift To Others,
But Also Myself

Being a therapist is an honor

I love guiding people towards positive changes and watching them transform their lives. The most rewarding thing about being a therapist is knowing that I had a part in helping someone else transform their life. I am committed to helping you make progress towards your goals.

I Have Compassion For People And Bring An Open,
Non-judgemental Presence To Sessions

I have a natural ability to

Help people feel comfortable

People who know me often say that I am a good listener who can help people feel heard and understood which helps people feel seen and start to heal.

Our Sessions Are Focused On You

Sessions will provide you with the space to be yourself. In feeling safe and comfortable, you'll be able to figure things out about yourself and be understood and heard.

It's important to me to provide a non-judgmental space where you can be yourself and focus on setting goals and working on reaching them together. There isn't a "one size fits all" approach to therapy. Our sessions will fit your specific needs and concerns.

As A Therapist, I Embrace
The Following Philosophies

I believe that you deserve to feel better.
I believe that you are worthy of love and care.
I believe that we only heal if we take care of ourselves.
I believe that therapy should address the person as a whole - their mind, body, and spirit.
I believe that if we continue to keep working and believing in ourselves we can be in a completely different space sooner than we think.

The professional stuff

My Professional Background

I received a bachelor of arts in speech pathology at Georgia State University. I then joined the United States Army where I served as a behavioral health technician. After an honorable discharge, I earned my master’s in social work from Clark University Atlanta, graduating at the top of my class with a 4.0gpa.

With a strong academic foundation, I worked in agencies serving underprivileged BIPOC communities, obtaining both my MSW, LMSW and LCSW. I hold a license in LCSW in the state of GA and am EMDR certified from the prestigious Kase and Co. training facility.
